Keto Indian Butter Chicken Recipe. Keto Indian But Keto Indian Butter Chicken Recipe. Keto Indian Butter Chicken! Combine 800 g chicken breast cut into bite-size pieces with 1/2 cup plain yogurt, 1 1/2 Tbsp garlic, 1 Tbsp grated ginger, 2 tsp garam masala, 1 tsp turmeric, 1 tsp cumin, 1 tsp chili powder and 1 tsp salt. Marinate at least one hour or up to overnight. Heat 2 Tbsp olive oil in a large pan or pot and add add your chicken in batches, making sure not to crowd the pan. Sear over medium high for a few minutes on each side and put on a plate to the side. We’re not cooking it through at this point, just getting a nice brown crust on the outside. Add 2 Tbsp ghee or butter to the same pot and one chopped onion. Cook for 5 – 6 minutes, using a wooden spoon to scrape the brown bits from the chicken up into the onions to add deep brown color and depth of flavor. Add 1 1/2 Tbsp chopped garlic, 1 Tbsp finely grated ginger, 1/2 Tbsp cumin, 1/2 Tbsp garam masala, 1 tsp coriander, 1 tsp chili powder, one 15 ounce can crushed tomatoes and a little over a teaspoon of salt. Cook for about 8 to 10 minutes until it thickens up and is a dark brownish red color. Add mixture to the blender and purée until smooth. Add back to your hot pan and add in one cup heavy whipping cream and 1 Tbsp sweetener. Toss your chicken into the sauce and simmer for about 10 -15 minutes until the chicken is cooked through. Serve with buttered cauliflower rice (or regular rice if you’re not keto or low carb) and cilantro. Keto Sourdough Bread Recipe. Carb-Free Sourdough B Keto Sourdough Bread Recipe. Carb-Free Sourdough Bread! This egg white protein bread is very popular in the keto and carnivore community, but I’ve played around with it and added some custom ingredients to make it my own and the result is amazing! Even though this bread is literally just egg whites, it doesn’t taste eggy! Add 12 egg whites (or 1 1/2 cups cartoned egg whites) to a mixing bowl. Add 1 tsp cream of tartar, 1 Tbsp powdered sweetener, 1/2 tsp salt and three droppers full of sourdough extract (I order mine on Amazon, but you can just make plain white bread if you don’t have it). Beat with an electric mixer until you get stiff peaks. Add half cup egg white protein (I use “it’s just” brand from Amazon) or powdered egg whites and continue mixing until everything is well combined. Load up into a parchment lined loaf pan and shape into a loaf. Make sure your oven rack is low enough to allow for some rising and bake at 325° for 45 minutes. Shut your oven off but leave the bread in the oven for an additional 15 minutes. Remove, allow to cool before slicing, store in fridge. Don’t forget the butter! This is such a great way to get in some fats that are healthy and yet treat yourself to something. You don’t ever have to feel like you are missing anything if you make simple swaps. **Note this is very filling so you might only need to eat 1/2 of this or less. Keto Chocolate Chia Pudding Dessert Recipe 4 tbsp whole chia seeds 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream 1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk 1 tbsp raw cacao powder 1 tbsp powdered lakanto Optional: 5-10 drops Stevia extract 1 1/2 tsp raw cocoa nibs or extra dark chocolate (at least 85% cocoa solids) Optional: add 1/4 tsp cinnamon and/or pinch cayenne pepper, almonds for toppings, Lily’s dark baking chips, homemade whip cream Mix the chia seeds, almond milk, heavy whipping cream, cacao powder, Erythritol, and stevia. Let it sit for at least 10-15 minutes, ideally overnight in the fridge. Enjoy!
